How do I find compsing jobs/gigs?
Compozly often gets asked the following:
“Is there a job board or do you match composers with creators manually?”
We currently don’t have an open “job board“ where you can view projects in one page yet. When you sign up for a Compozly account, Creators can message you directly via your profile page or via the Discover page and propose projects directly to you.
Our collaboration process facilitates trusted and secure payments via the indistry leader in payments processing using Stripe for both parties. Otherwise, we have a small handful of projects that come into our platform where our team manually matches the right composer for the right project based on experience, genre, mood, instruments, etc.
We currently prioritize composers who are signed up for our Compozly “Maestro” plan first and then our Compozly “Pro” plan next. Everyone including free members are eligible to be selected by a creator in our Discover page, however Maestro and Pro will always be filtered to the top for the most serious composers. This helps us identify the composers who are the most serious about working on paid scoring gigs. It’s equally important to understand that, this still doesn’t guarantee that you (the Composer) will always work on paid scoring gigs because ultimately that is up to the filmmaker or video creators discretion.
